Profile & Story

Le Machin is a project of Mike Roth and Craig Winchester of Lo-Fi Wines, sourcing CCOF-certified organic Pinot Noir from vineyards (mainly Spear Vineyard) across the Sta. Rita Hills AVA of Santa Barbara County. The wine is 95% destemmed, fermented with indigenous yeast and aged in neutral French oak for eight months, following Lo-Fi's low-intervention, minimal-oak philosophy.

Tasting Notes

Ripe cherries, red berries, clove, black tea and a hint of baking spice from limited oak aging; bright and mouth-watering.
