Profile & Story

Buccia Nera is a family estate in the hills of Campriano, near Arezzo in Tuscany. Rossorelativo is 80% Sangiovese with 10% Syrah and 10% Malvasia Bianca, grown on medium-textured soils dominated by clay and galestro. Fermentation is spontaneous in steel tanks with four days of maceration, the wine is left unfiltered, and it is aged six months in concrete and two months in bottle.

Tasting Notes

Faded ruby red with violet reflections. Intense floral notes on the nose, followed by fresh red fruits. Agile on the palate, with great freshness and high acidity; low tannin makes it smooth, and the fresh fruity notes make it juicy and pleasant. Best drunk cold.

Pairing Recommendation

Drink it on its own, or pair it with mild cheeses, vegetarian dishes, pizza and cold cuts.
