I Greppi Greppicante Bolgheri Rosso 2024

I Greppi is an estate on the Tuscan coast at Bolgheri. Greppicante is a true Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, first produced in 2004 and now more than twenty years into the estate's Bolgheri DOC Rosso range. The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard, destemmed and gently pressed, then fermented in stainless steel for two to three weeks at temperatures kept below 28 C, with malolactic also in steel. The wine is aged twelve months in French oak barriques, about 50% of them used, while the remainder of the blend stays in steel.
