La Spinetta Derthona Timorasso 2024

Profile & Story

Timorasso is an ancient indigenous grape of Piemonte, and La Spinetta's Derthona comes from vineyards in the villages of Montemarzino, Montegioco and Monleale in the Colli Tortonesi. The fruit is destemmed and softly pressed, then alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled small steel tanks. The wine rests on its noble lees for eight months, is filtered, and is bottle-aged a further three months before release.
