Profile & Story

Pasquale Pelissero is a small family winery in Neive, in the Barbaresco zone of Piedmont, founded by 'Papa' Pasquale, one of the first growers in Neive to bottle and sell his own wine; today it is run by his children Ornella and Simone. The Pasqualin Langhe Nebbiolo is produced and aged in large botti in the traditional style Pasquale favored, and remains a mainstay of the estate.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red with purple reflections; a mostly fruity bouquet of berry jam and sweet spice with hints of tobacco and cocoa; a fresh, mineral note and pleasant tannic structure on the palate.
