Profile & Story

Founded in 1956 by Hans Rottensteiner and now run by third-generation Hannes, the estate is based in Bolzano, South Tyrol. This Pinot Grigio is sourced from vineyards in Branzollo and Frangarto south of Bolzano (250-300m), with additional fruit from S. Giacomo in Sabbia (~450m) and Auna di Sotto (~600m); ABV 13.4%.

Tasting Notes

More complex than a typical Pinot Grigio, with intense color and notes of banana, vanilla and spice.

Pairs very well with fish, starters, and not-too-spicy white meat.
