The Guerrieri Gonzaga family has owned Tenuta San Leonardo, in the Vallagarina valley of Trentino, for over three centuries. Terre di San Leonardo is the estate's second wine, a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenere from the same terroir as their flagship San Leonardo -- spontaneously fermented (12-15 days) in concrete, then aged 12 months split between concrete tank and French oak barriques/tonneaux.
