Profile & Story

Villa Patrizia was founded in 1968 by Romeo and Maria Bruni, who left city life to return to the Tuscan countryside; the estate began bottling in 1980, among the first in the Maremma to do so. Sciamareti, first produced in 1989, blends 50% Malvasia Bianca and 40% Procanico from 40-year-old vines around the Roccalbegna estate with 10% Sauvignon Blanc from the Orto di Baccio vineyard at 400m.
