Weingut Kracher, based in Illmitz on the Neusiedlersee in Burgenland's Seewinkel, is internationally regarded as the benchmark producer of Austrian botrytized sweet wines, founded by Alois Kracher and continued by son Gerhard. This Beerenauslese is 100% Zweigelt, Austria's signature red grape, fermented and matured in new oak barrels for 6 months. ABV 9.5%, residual sugar 129.9 g/L, acidity 6.2 g/L.
