Moulin Touchais is one of the oldest and most traditional Anjou estates, family-owned since 1787 across eight generations, holding about 145 hectares in Tigné, Martigné-Briand and Maligné within Coteaux du Layon. The estate's signature practice is cellaring the finished wine a minimum of ten years before release. Harvest is done in two passes: roughly 20% picked early for acidity, and about 80% picked later over multiple tries at full, botrytis-influenced ripeness. 100% Chenin Blanc.
