Domaine Etienne Daulny farms 15 hectares across roughly 50 plots in Verdigny, in the Sancerre appellation of the Loire Valley, at yields of about 50 hl/ha, hand-harvesting and fermenting in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The domaine avoids malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness, and ages a small portion of its wines in large, well-seasoned oak barrels for added complexity without excess oak character. The estate Sancerre blends fruit from plots across the appellation's varied soils — clay, flint, Portlandian, and Kimmeridgian limestone — including old vines from noted sites such as Les Monts Damnés, Les Bois Butteux, and La Perrière.
