Profile & Story
Markus Molitor is one of the Mosel's largest and most respected Riesling estates. Its Haus Klosterberg Riesling Sekt Brut is made from strictly selected, whole-cluster-pressed Riesling from typical Middle Mosel vineyards, fermented cool in stainless steel, then made sparkling by traditional bottle fermentation (methode traditionnelle) and left on its lees for several years before disgorgement.
Tasting Notes
A traditional-method Riesling sparkler with the extended lees aging giving it toasty complexity layered over the Mosel's characteristic bright acidity and orchard-fruit character.
