Whispering Angel is produced by Chateau d'Esclans in the Cotes de Provence, the estate that helped establish the modern premium rose category under owner Sacha Lichine. Grapes - a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle (Vermentino), and Syrah - are harvested at night to preserve freshness, then optically sorted, softly crushed, and pressed in a closed circuit to minimize oxidation, with twice-weekly batonnage during fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
