Profile & Story
La Commanderie de Peyrassol is a Provencal estate founded in the 13th century by the Knights Templar, at the foot of the Massif des Maures between Cannes and Marseille, and farms its vineyards organically. 'Les Commandeurs' Rose is a blend of roughly 50% Grenache, 35% Cinsault and 15% Syrah (composition varies slightly by vintage) from estate fruit grown on clay-and-limestone valley soils and schist parcels, vinified without oak for a clean, fresh expression.
Tasting Notes
Small wild berries lifted by a fine touch of juniper on the nose. Lively and energetic on the palate, with hints of exotic citrus, closing vibrant and tangy.
