Profile & Story
Nuraghe Crabioni is an estate winery founded in 2003 in Sorso, on Sardinia's northern coast near Sassari, focused exclusively on native Sardinian varieties. The Crabioni Vermentino comes from vineyards at Lu Crabioni, roughly 70 meters above sea level in a well-ventilated coastal site, farmed with integrated (low-intervention) agriculture. ABV 13.5%.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with greenish highlights. Intense aromas of exotic fruit with hints of magnolia, elderflower and almond. Dry on the palate, opening fresh and well-balanced before turning softer, with a long, clean finish and lively, balanced acidity.
Pairing Recommendation
Grilled shrimp, sea bass, fish soups and baked fish with Mediterranean herbs; also enjoyable as an aperitif. Best served at 8-10C.
