Tre Monti was founded in the early 1970s by Thea and Sergio Navecchia in Imola, Emilia-Romagna, and has since become known for pushing native Romagnolo varieties forward. 'Vigna Rocca' comes from the estate's certified-organic Petrignone vineyard at 150 meters, planted on calcareous clay, and is bottled as a dry, still expression of Albana -- a variety more often seen sweet -- earning it the nickname 'a red wine in a white dress' for its structure and food-pairing range.
