Vietti is a historic Barolo-zone producer based in Castiglione Falletto, Piedmont. 'Trevie' (labeled 'Tre Vigne' on earlier vintages) is their Barbera d'Asti, sourced from hillside vineyards around Asti on limestone-and-clay soils, made as 100% Barbera.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red color with sour cherry and vanilla notes on the nose. Medium-bodied and dry on the palate, with good acidity and soft tannins, well balanced with good complexity, closing on a red cherry finish.
