Domaine de Gaubourg is a 6-hectare organic estate in Saint-Melaine-sur-Aubance, in Anjou Noir, supported since 2018 by Felix Celard, a former chef turned vigneron working with low-intervention, hands-on methods. The 'Rosa' blends Grolleau Noir and Cabernet Franc hand-harvested from 50-60 year-old vines, fermented in stainless steel with roughly 50% whole-cluster, aiming for a light, elegant, low-alcohol red.
Tasting Notes
Light and elegant in the glass, with bright red-berry fruit, a touch of herbal lift from the whole-cluster component, and the low-alcohol freshness typical of Celard's minimal-intervention style.
