Pine Ridge Vineyards, founded in 1978 in Napa's Stags Leap District, has produced this Chenin Blanc-Viognier blend for more than 25 years as one of its most enduring bottlings. The wine combines 80% Chenin Blanc from the Clarksburg AVA -- the 'Gem of the Delta' along the Sacramento River Delta -- with 20% Viognier from Lodi, fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve freshness.
Tasting Notes
Crisp and vivacious, with honeysuckle, orange blossom, white peach and jasmine aromas; the Viognier lends a touch of textural roundness to the naturally bright Chenin Blanc.
