Mas Cal Demoura is an estate in Jonquières, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation in the Languedoc, one of the pioneering domaines that helped drive the region's quality revolution beginning in the early 1990s. Vincent Goumard and his wife have run the estate since 2004, achieving biodynamic certification in 2019. Les Combariolles is a single-parcel selection from the estate's limestone terroir, a blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Tasting Notes
A Terrasses du Larzac red built from Syrah and Mourvèdre off limestone soils typically shows dark berry and garrigue-herb aromatics, a structured, medium-to-full body, and firm but ripe tannins with a savory, mineral-inflected finish.
