Profile & Story
Riofavara is a family-run estate founded in 1920 in Sicily's Val di Noto, farmed organically and today led by Massimo Padova. Notissimo is the estate's Moscato di Noto, made from Moscato Bianco and the rarer Moscatello Selvatico, vinified as a fresh, unfortified dessert wine rather than the darker, higher-alcohol style more commonly associated with Sicilian Moscato.
Tasting Notes
Unlike many heavier Sicilian Moscati, Notissimo is fresh and vibrant, with bright acidity and a clean, only lightly sweet finish — closer in balance to a Vouvray moelleux than to a fortified dessert wine, with the grape's signature orange-blossom and ripe stone-fruit aromatics.
Pairing Recommendation
Fresh fruit, fruit tart, or on its own as a chilled dessert pour.
