Profile & Story
Le Rosé 2015 was originally destined to become the top-tier Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon but was declassified and released as Le Rosé instead. It blends Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs Grand Crus with Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne, low-temperature vinified and aged 100 months on lees.
Tasting Notes
A coppery-pink Champagne with tart red fruit, sandalwood and spice aromas; medium-bodied and structured, with layers of stone fruit, tart cherry and sun-dried mineral notes.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs well with fillet of wild salmon or langoustine carpaccio.
