Profile & Story

Founded in 1902 by Italian immigrant Nicola Catena, who planted the first Malbec vineyard in Mendoza, the winery has been passed down through four generations of the Catena family. Today Laura Catena and winemaker Alejandro Vigil continue the family's pioneering work with high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina.
