Fullerton Wines is a Willamette Valley producer founded in 2011 by winemaker Alex Fullerton with proprietors Eric and Susanne Fullerton, farming vineyards across the valley's AVAs with a focus on quality and sustainability. Poetry Pinot Noir draws mainly from a vineyard in the Lower Long Tom AVA in the southwest Willamette Valley, with smaller lots from Dundee Hills, Laurelwood District, Ribbon Ridge and the mid-valley, aged nine months in mostly neutral French oak.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant ruby red with fresh raspberry, plum, blackberry, new leather, tarragon, rose petal and forest floor on the nose; the palate is bright and crunchy with mixed berry fruit, tilled soil and baking spice, framed by lively acidity.
