The Pinot Noir in our 2022 Brut Rosé hails from our six-acre Marine Layer Vineyard in Sebastopol Hills. With the unique climate factors and the illustrious sandy Goldridge soil, this vineyard captures the true essence of the Sonoma Coast. The Chardonnay in the blend is from Gap's Crown Vineyard. Gap's Crown Chardonnay ripens slowly, preserving acidity while developing lush fruit character late into the growing season.
Tasting Notes
Rose gold in color, the 2022 Brut Rosé is a vibrant, mineral-driven expression of our 50/50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend. Aromas of rose petal, strawberry, and nectarine are complemented by hints of pear and lightly toasted San Francisco sourdough. On the palate, golden raspberries and pastry cream mingle with bright, lively acidity, while the higher proportion of Chardonnay enhances the wine’s energetic, mineral-laced lift. The finish is elegant, precise, and irresistibly refreshing.
