Profile & Story
Domaine Aspras is a family estate run by the Latz family since 1960 in Correns - France's first officially organic village - on the northern edge of Cotes de Provence. The 32-hectare vineyard has been farmed organically since 1995 across a mix of river sand, white limestone and iron-rich red-earth soils. The Licorne rose is made from Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre, given a short skin maceration before gentle pressing, with mixed fermentation and aging split between French oak barrels (4 months) and terracotta amphorae.
Tasting Notes
A clear, brilliant rose-petal color leads to aromas of white peach, raspberry and redcurrant lifted by floral notes; the palate shows amplitude and roundness with precise, well-judged acidity and remarkable length.
