Elena Walch is one of Alto Adige's leading estates, farming vineyards on light limestone and porphyric soils at altitudes ranging from roughly 250m up to 600m. Pinot Grigio, the winery's most widely planted variety, is made exclusively from Alto Adige DOC fruit that is entirely hand-harvested; the region's warm days and cool nights allow slow ripening that builds flavor while preserving balance.
