Champagne Jacques Picard is a family-owned grower house based in Berru, on the Montagne de Reims, with certified-organic vineyards extending over three crus around Reims and Epernay - Berru, Montbre and Avenay-Val-d'Or (the latter two Premier Cru). For four generations the family has developed every Champagne from vine to bottle using exclusively estate-grown fruit. Iconique Brut, the house's signature cuvee since 1956, is Chardonnay-driven with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in the blend.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of crisp apple, pear and citrus with hints of brioche and toasted almond; a fruity style with bright acidity and a fine mix of minerality and freshness, contrasting the ripe texture of Montagne de Reims fruit with the chalky precision of the Cote des Blancs.
