Champagne Moutard is a family house at Buxeuil in the Cote des Bar, the southern, Kimmeridgian-soil end of Champagne, farming clay-limestone slopes around Buxeuil and Polisy. Brut Reserve sits in the house's 'Great Classics' range alongside the Grande Cuvee and the Brut Rose Cuvaison; like the rest of the range it is built on the Pinot Noir that dominates the Cote des Bar.
