Bodegues Sumarroca is a family estate in the Alt Penedes, farming its own vineyards for cava and still wine. The Brut Reserva is the house's traditional-method cava, built on the classic Penedes trio of Xarel-lo, Parellada and Macabeo with a small proportion of Chardonnay (always under 7%), and aged a minimum of 20 months on its lees. 12% alcohol.
Tasting Notes
