The privilege of farming this small vineyard bestowed upon us the opportunity to conduct multiple picks and ferment different sections of the vineyard independently. This meticulous approach resulted in a blend that seamlessly harmonizes four distinct ferments, encompassing both crushed fruit and whole berry expressions. To further enhance the wine's complexity, a combination of standard barriques and puncheons, all of neutral oak origin, were employed.
Tasting Notes
This wine embodies a soft and supple nature, showcasing brambly fruit flavors. It is best enjoyed in its youthful state, highlighting its beautiful fruit expression. With a plush finish, it delivers a satisfying experience, distinguished by its absence of heat compared to other Zinfandels.
