Rotta Zin
2022, Adelaida, Paso Robles AVA, USA
About the Wine
Rotta Zin is a wine that invites you to experience Zinfandel in its most approachable and vibrant form. This 2022 vintage is all about capturing the bright, brambly essence of red and blue fruits, wrapped up in a fresh and lively package. Harvested on August 25th from the Hawk’s Hill Vineyard in the Adelaida District, this wine represents our first venture with this particular fruit. We decided to explore the different facets of the grapes by separating them into three distinct fermentations: one with destemmed whole berries, another with destemmed crushed fruit, and the third with whole clusters. The final blend, with about 20% whole cluster, brings together the best of each method, resulting in a wine that’s both fresh and complex.
