Profile & Story

The Gatinois family have farmed vines in Ay Grand Cru since 1696; twelfth-generation vigneron Louis Gatinois sells part of the estate's crop to Bollinger while estate-bottling the rest. The Brut Rose Grand Cru blends 90% Pinot Noir (including a small portion of still red wine) with 10% Chardonnay, entirely from Ay.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant salmon-pink with a bouquet of red fruit -- strawberry, blackberry, cherry -- and a touch of spice, finishing on lingering morello-cherry notes.
