Founded in 1932 by Pierre Taittinger in Reims, Champagne Taittinger remains one of the few family-owned and family-run Champagne houses, farming roughly 290 hectares with a signature preference for a high proportion of Chardonnay. Cuvee Prestige Brut blends about 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier from more than 35 crus, aged on the lees for three to four years before release -- more than double the appellation's legal minimum.
