From Asahi Shuzo in Nagaoka, Niigata, Senju is milled to 50% for the koji and 55% for the mash using Niigata Gohyakumangoku rice, in the brewery's tanrei-karakuchi house style.
Tasting Notes
Elegant, refreshing, and gentle on the nose, with echoes of umami over a smooth, dry mouthfeel; served chilled it shows hints of tartness and a crisp finish.
