Ramsay is a value-priced California label from Kent Rasmussen Winery in Napa, named for Kent Rasmussen's wife, Celia Ramsay; the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend with Petite Sirah sourced from Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa, Paso Robles, and Lodi fruit, aged 12 months in 25% new French oak.
Tasting Notes
Deep purple-black in the glass, with a rich nose of black fruit, cedar, and herbs; a full-bodied palate layers blackberry, boysenberry, and earthy spice over rounded tannins to a satisfying, mouthwatering finish.
