Maison Noir Wines is the Oregon "garage wine" micro-negociant founded in 2007 by sommelier Andre Hueston Mack, sourcing the best fruit possible from specific terroirs in the Willamette Valley and the Pacific Northwest to make wines that show the individuality of their sites. The name "In Sheep's Clothing" is a hat tip to Alonzo Harris (Training Day): "to protect the sheep you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf." 100% Pinot Grigio. Harvest was marked by a temperate growing season with cooler-than-average temperatures, allowing grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, resulting in wines with vibrant acidity, expressive fruit flavors, and a refined balance of structure and elegance. Winemaking: fermentation and maturation is all in stainless steel. Alcohol 13.5%.
