Marble Wines is a female-founded California label started by Latoya S. Jordan - an attorney and entrepreneur, born in Germany and raised in Georgia - together with founding partner Brianna Shelko, a digital-marketing entrepreneur and award-winning singer/songwriter. In the brand's own words: "At Marble Wines we're starting a new tradition. We're creating our own legacy. This one didn't begin two hundred years ago in an Italian vineyard." Their mission is to create wines that delight the senses, honor individual expression and foster connection among women, and they are intentional about partnering with artists and winemakers aligned with that goal; the label art is by contemporary figurative illustrator and painter Perryn Ryan Ford, known for her celebration of the female form. Marble Red is the brand's first red blend, built around Petite Sirah with Zinfandel, a touch of Barbera and an unexpected hint of Chardonnay.
