Buoncristiani Family Winery is run by four brothers — Matt, Jay, Aaron, and Nate Buoncristiani — continuing a family winemaking tradition from a fully underground cave winery, The Caves at Soda Canyon, above the Stags Leap District. Triad Blanc blends three white varieties — Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Chardonnay — fermented separately using native and selected yeasts across a combination of concrete egg tank, stainless steel drums, and neutral French oak barrels, then aged sur lie for 7 months before blending and bottling.
Tasting Notes
Complex aromas of lemon zest, white peach, spicy pear, orange sherbet, floral muscat, vanilla, and lemon cream pie. On the palate, a creamy texture leads into layered flavors of mango, pineapple, apple, key lime pie, honeysuckle, and vanilla wafer, with zesty citrus and tropical fruit lingering into a crisp, bright finish.
