Profile & Story

Ruggeri has been producing Prosecco for around 20 years from the Valdobbiadene hills of Veneto, at the heart of the region's top Prosecco DOCG appellation, with annual production of roughly one million bottles distributed to 35 countries. Argeo, their Prosecco DOC Treviso bottling, blends Glera (minimum 85%) with a small portion of Verdiso and Perera — two ancient native Veneto grapes from very old vines that Ruggeri believes lend extra class and complexity.

Tasting Notes

Outstanding clarity lets the pale straw color and fine, persistent perlage shine through, with a fresh, elegant bouquet of flowery sensations and fruity, harmonious notes reminiscent of golden apple. Fresh, delicate, and balanced on the palate, with light alcohol and a long fruity finish.
