Athanasiou Winery is a family-owned estate in Nemea, Greece's largest PDO region, where the Athanasiou family has grown grapes since 1855; the modern winery was established in 2007, focused on the native Agiorgitiko and Assyrtiko varieties with organic farming. Thronos, their 100% Agiorgitiko PDO Nemea, is hand-picked from vineyards at 320m altitude.
