Domaine Michel Caillot Meursault 2015

The Caillot domaine was established in the village of Meursault in 1962 by Roger Caillot, father of current winemaker Michel Caillot, who is also the nephew of Pierre Morey (formerly of Domaine Leflaive). The 13-hectare estate is farmed organically with low yields of 25-40 hectoliters per hectare, and Michel favors an extended elevage, keeping the wine roughly two years before bottling to preserve freshness.
