Domaine Zafeirakis is a family estate in Tyrnavos, Thessaly, where Christos Zafeirakis, a fourth-generation grower, planted the family's first organic vineyard in 2005 and has since revived the near-extinct indigenous Limniona grape. This 100% Limniona rose is PGI Tyrnavos, sourced from the estate's Paleomylos vineyard (sandy-clay soil with high flint content, 200-300m altitude, vines aged 7-28 years) farmed organically and biodynamically, hand-harvested in September.

Tasting Notes

Fermented with native yeasts after a few hours of low-temperature skin extraction and aged briefly in stainless steel, the wine shows a pale rose color with fresh, vibrant fruit and crisp, lively acidity.
