Merry Edwards founded her eponymous winery in 1997 in Sebastopol after decades as one of California's pioneering woman winemakers, building a reputation for terroir-driven, site-specific Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. The Sonoma Coast bottling blends individual lots from several clonal selections grown on diverse sites near the Sonoma County coast, each shaped by its proximity to the Pacific.
Tasting Notes
A lifted, floral and fruit-forward Pinot Noir with red berry and pepper-spice aromas alongside savory, earthy undertones of dried rose petal and cocoa; the palate is silky, with ultra-fine tannins and even balance.
