Profile & Story
Founded in 1897 and based in the 15th-century Quadrio Castle in Chiuro, Nino Negri is the leading estate of the Valtellina DOCG in Lombardy. Ca'Brione is a late-harvest white blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay picked earlier, with Incrocio Manzoni and a small portion of Nebbiolo vinified white picked later; each variety is vinified separately and the wine is aged in a mix of new and used oak barriques.
Tasting Notes
Deep golden in color, with fresh aromas of exotic fruit, spice and a note of musk; the palate is full and elegant, closing on fruit and vanilla notes from its barrique aging.
