Lanson, founded in Reims in 1760, was among the first Champagne houses to produce a blended rose, as early as 1833; the current cuvee was created in 1949. Le Rose blends roughly 53% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier from a range of crus and nearly ten vintages, aged a minimum of three years including 6 months post-disgorgement.
