Quintessa is a Rutherford, Napa Valley estate farmed as a single certified-organic, biodynamic vineyard. Illumination is the estate's white-wine counterpart to its flagship red -- originally a passion project that has become one of Napa's most sought-after Sauvignon Blancs. The 2023 blends fruit from Napa and Sonoma Counties (58% Sauvignon Blanc, 32% Sauvignon Blanc Musque clone, 10% Semillon), fermented across seven vessel types including concrete eggs, French oak and acacia-wood barrels, neutral barriques, stainless steel and ceramic amphorae.
