Profile & Story
Tolaini is a Tuscan estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga built by Pierluigi Tolaini with consulting enologist Michel Rolland; Al Passo takes its name from a circular forest on the estate's Vallenuova vineyard. The wine is 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot, aged 14 months in French oak fermenters and barrique.
Tasting Notes
Dried cherry, tobacco, cedar, licorice and incense notes over a classic Sangiovese backbone of dark fruit, blackberry and black cherry with a hint of chocolate.
