Profile & Story

Family-owned estate winery on the west side of Cayuga Lake, farming since 1985 on silt-loam soils over shale bedrock. Sauvignon Blanc is a rare planting for the Finger Lakes -- Hosmer is one of only two producers growing it in the region.

Tasting Notes

Rich meyer lemon and coconut cream lead to lime blossom and cherimoya on the palate; a creamy midpalate with marzipan gives way to a rich finish carried by soft tropicals and jasmine.
