Wein-Erbhof Stein is a family estate in Sankt Aldegund, Mosel, officially founded in 1948 by Heinrich and Erna Stein and now run by Ulli and Barbara Stein. Ulli Stein was central to overturning the pre-war ban on red wine production in the Mosel and tends some of the region's oldest Pinot Noir vines, planted in the late 1980s. 'Red Light' is the estate's Kabinett Trocken bottling, built on steep-slope fruit and restrained extraction.
